UFC On FUEL TV: Munoz Vs. Weidman Medicals Released, Include Seven Fighters

The California Athletic Commission has released the medical suspensions for fighters from UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman. The information was obtained by MMA Junkie.

James Te Huna, who earned a co-main event victory over Joey Beltran, was dealt the longest suspension. Te Huna suffered likely fractures to his left elbow and left foot, as he informed the post-fight show after his win.

Te Huna was handed a 180-day suspension, but that could run longer if he’s unable to be cleared by a physician.

Mark Munoz, who lost in the main event to Chris Weidman, was also placed on suspension with lacerations to his face and a possible fractured mandible.

Mark Munoz is suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact for TKO loss. Also suspended 180 days or until cleared by physician for left scalp and right eyebrow laceration and possible fractured mandible.

James Te Huna is suspended 180 days or until cleared by physician for possible left elbow fracture and left foot fracture, and suspended indefinitely pending an MRI submitted on or before Sept. 11.

Joey Beltran is suspended 60 days or until cleared by physician for two right orbital lacerations and a upper right side lip laceration.

Aaron Simpson is suspended 60 days or until cleared by a physician for a right eye laceration.

Kenny Robertson is suspended 60 days or until cleared by physician for right scalp laceration.

Josh Ferguson is suspended 60 days or until cleared by physician for right orbital laceration.

Andrew Craig is suspended 60 days or until cleared by physician for left eye brow laceration.
