Rashad Evans Remains ’50-50′ In Regards To Move To Middleweight

Maybe Rashad Evans will face Anderson Silva after all for the UFC middleweight title.

Last week, Evans’ management team claimed the fighter would not be making any kind of drop to 185 in the future.

Well, during a recent interview with ESPN, “Suga” said he is still gathering information about a possible drop to middleweight.

“I haven’t totally made up my mind,” Evans said. “It’s something I’m going to think about a little more in the coming months.”

Evans, who lost to Jon Jones earlier this year in his quest to win back the UFC light heavyweight title, mentioned taking a fight or two at middleweight before jumping right in for the title. He said that, “to skip over everybody wouldn’t be fair,” in regards to fighters who have been positioning themselves in the division.
