Glover Teixeira Prepared For All-Out-War With ‘Rampage’ Jackson

Glover Teixeira expects nothing short of a punch-for-punch, old-fashion slugfest when he steps inside the Octagon with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson later this year.

Teixeira and Jackson are set to meet at UFC 153 from Brazil, providing Teixeira a chance to compete in his native country.

After having visa issues keep him from the UFC, Teixeira made his debut earlier this year, dominating Kyle Kingsbury and earning his 16th consecutive victory.

“I’m going out with him in the standup,” said Teixeira, during a recent interview with Sherdog. “I have to be smart and not stand still.”

Jackson will be making the final appearance in the UFC on his current contract, though UFC president Dana White did mention recently that you never know how “Rampage” is going to act one day to the next.

Rampage hasn’t been very exciting since he lost to Griffin, and will all his KO pier, he hasn’t put anyone away since Silva. How many years has it been? Rampage is a tough guy but his fights just haven’t been the same since he started getting Paid big money
