Trash Talk By Dan Henderson Only Fuels Jon Jones

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is used to facing opponents who try to get inside his mind before a fight.

First there was Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who made claims that Jones had a spy in his camp.

That was followed up by a trash-talk-fest with Rashad Evans, as the two were former training partners who split after “Bones” won the title.

Well, just when Jones thought he was in for a no-talking match, that changed, as Dan Henderson has fired off several comments against the champion.

Jones has decided to respond via Twitter, but in a more polite fashion.

No clue why Dan Henderson decided to be so disrespectful to me leading up to this fight, but it is what it is, I could use the motivation. The dudes done so much for the sport, I’m not even trying to come at him like that. I just figured with all his experience he’d be over stuff like that.

Jones and Henderson will collide in the main event of UFC 151 in September.
