UFC president Dana White was asked about reports that Tim Sylvia had signed a contract with Strikeforce to face Daniel Cormier in September.
White responded back via Twitter with, “No to Tim.” In the same post, he did mention that Logan Stanton would be back working as an Octagon girl for UFC 149 this evening.
In a story reported Friday by MMA Junkie, Sylvia signed a multi-fight contract to return to Zuffa. He is a former UFC heavyweight champion, who has been begging White to give him another shot in the company.
White has stood solid in his responses to Sylvia, continually telling him no. Sylvia and his management team have yet to make any sort of announcement in regards to his fighting future.
