Dan Henderson’s Mission Vs. Jon Jones: Put Him On His Back

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has tested his wrestling skills against such grapplers as Ryan Bader and Matt Hamill.

However, none of them match up to Dan Henderson in terms of overall wrestling skills.

Jones will defend his title against Henderson at UFC 151 in September.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani for MMA Fighting, “Hendo” explained what he plans to do to “Bones” next month.

I’m gonna make sure I put him on his back and we haven’t seen him there. We’ll see how that goes. I’m looking forward to going out there and proving a lot of people wrong.

Since defeating Mauricio “Shogun” Rua last year, Henderson has turned down a handful of fights to cash in his title opportunity. He has long said becoming a UFC champion is one of his final goals in MMA.

Im a massive hendo fan and i know he competed greco roman in the Olympics but IMO rashad has the much better mma wrestling game and was unsuccessful on his attempts on JBJ so i reli dont see him dragging jones to the ground (but i hope to god im wrong!!)
