UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones believes former champs Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Lyoto Machida will earn wins at UFC on Fox: Shogun vs. Vera.
Rua is set to take on Brandon Vera, while Machida battles Ryan Bader.
Jones, who himself has an upcoming title defense set for September against Dan Henderson, has been inside the Octagon with all four men and owns wins over the quartet. He made his fight predictions via Twitter on Thursday.
My prediction: I got Shogun by decision after a predominant striking match. Vera could make it more interesting if he uses take downs

I could see Machida stopping the fight, out classing Bader with good foot work and fast strikes. Bader needs to turn it into a brawl
