Dana White Pleased With UFC On Fox: Shogun Vs. Vera

Coming off a disappointing event, UFC president Dana White knew there was a lot of pressure on the fighters at UFC on Fox: Shogun vs. Vera to deliver.

With four interesting bouts on the Fox-televised main card, White felt like the card lived up to the expectations, as he told FUEL TV during a post-fight interview.

It was a great night. Every fight was great and every one delivered. I always want the best showing we can possibly have. I know how talented these athletes are and what they’re capable of doing.

The main event featured three-plus rounds of action between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Brandon Vera, while Lyoto Machida earned a knockout victory in the co-main event over Ryan Bader.

Mike Swick and Joe Lauzon were each impressive, as well, in wins over DaMarques Johnson and Jamie Varner.
