Benson Henderson Discusses Frankie Edgar

For UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson, being able to get down to the 155-pound limit is a true test.

However, when others say it puts fighters such as Frankie Edgar at a disadvantage, Henderson can only laugh.

This Saturday night, the two will meet in the main event of UFC 150, as Henderson defends his title for the first time against the man he took it from earlier this year.

Frankie was being called one of the pound-for-pound best guys in the Octagon when he was winning and as the champion. Nobody was saying how small he was then. I think it’s kind of humorous that it changes when he loses.

Henderson earned a decision victory over Edgar in Japan when they first met. “The Answer” asked for a rematch, and was eventually granted one by the UFC.

Well it is evident that size is by far the biggest factor in this fight. their striking game is close, their wrestling game is close and their ground game is close!! So if you have two men with close skills but one has a definite size/strength advantage you have to assume thats what made him champ!
