Anthony Pettis Offers Up Response To Donald Cerrone’s Threats

Anthony Pettis is a former WEC lightweight champion.

And, after hearing Donald Cerrone continue to call him out during a press conference Thursday, “Showtime” made sure to remind Cerrone of that on Twitter.

Pettis is currently working his way back into fighting shape after undergoing shoulder surgery. He defeated Joe Lauzon via knockout earlier this year, and appears to be a contender in the stacked lightweight division.

Cerrone, meanwhile, is set to face Melvin Guillard Saturday night at UFC 150: Henderson vs. Edgar II. It appears that “Cowboy” and Pettis are on a collision course for a future encounter inside the Octagon.
