Dana White Responds To Alistair Overeem Being Licensed Early: ‘No Way In Hell’

UFC president Dana White is moving forward with plans to book Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez for the UFC heavyweight title.

Despite Alistair Overeem making claims that he would appear in front of the Nevada Athletic Commission and ask to be granted his fight license ahead of his scheduled December date, White told reporters following UFC 150 that such an idea is unlikely to happen.

My way in hell. No way in hell that’s going to happen. The commission would never do that.

Keith Kizer, executive with the Nevada Athletic Commission, said similar things when asked recently about reports of Overeem going before the board in August.

Overeem has been pushing for a match with dos Santos, and “Cigano” seemed willing to bypass Velasquez to face him. Now, it appears we will get a rematch between JDS and Velasquez this December.
