Chael Sonnen Says Dan Henderson ‘Is Best Of All-Time,’ Will Beat Jon Jones

Chael Sonnen and Dan Henderson have helped push Team Quest to new bounds. So, when Sonnen was asked to give his take on the upcoming Henderson-Jon Jones UFC light heavyweight title match at UFC 151, it was no surprise who Sonnen picked.

I believe in ‘Hendo,’ – and so should you. If you look at Jon Jones and think of a man who can beat him, you would think of someone with great KO power, the best chin the sport because – with his reach – Jones is going to hit you, great wrestling and a relentlessly aggressive style. That man already exists – and his name is Dan Henderson.

Henderson has defeated some of the biggest names in MMA, and even Jones said during a recent media conference call that adding his name to his resume would be a great achievement.

“Jones is a talented kid, but he’s taking on a man, and I’d bet on the man any day of the week,” Sonnen added. “All in all, he’s beaten 11 world champions in his career. The man is the best of all-time. That is who Jon Jones is facing.”

Maybe Sonnen is right in putting so much praise on Henderson, but, let’s not forget that there are a few fighters – namely Anderson Silva – that Henderson has not defeated during his career.
