Several UFC 151 Fights Receive New Homes

One question posed to UFC president Dana White after news of UFC 151’s cancellation concerned what would happen to the remaining fights.

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was quickly signed to fight Lyoto Machida at UFC 152, and Dan Henderson will be on the sidelines recovering.

First, the co-main event – Jake Ellenberger vs. Jay Hieron – was shifted to UFC on FX: Browne vs. Bigfoot.

Now, more fights are being placed on cards over the next couple of months.

Kyle Noke (19-6-1) and Charlie Brenneman (15-4) have been moved to UFC 152, which takes place September 22 from Toronto.

Two lightweight fights are set for UFC on FX: Browne vs. Bigfoot, as Shane Roller takes on Jacob Volkmann, and Michael Johnson battles Danny Castillo.

That card goes down October 5 from Minneapolis.

Fights left without homes include Dennis Siver vs. Eddie Yagin, Thiago Tavares vs. Dennis Hallman, John Lineker vs. Yasuhiro Urushitana, Takeya Mizugaki vs. Jeff Hougland, Tim Means vs. Abel Trujillo, and Daron Cruickshank vs. Henry Martinez.
