Bellator 73 Results; Vegh, Galvao Claim Tourney Titles

Despite losing the original main event, Bellator 73 didn’t receive the cancellation treatment like UFC 151 earlier this week.

The main event belonged to Travis Wiuff and Attila Vegh as they met for the “Summer Series” light heavyweight title. Vegh caught Wiuff with a shot behind the ear, dropping him and earning the title in just 25 seconds.

Vegh will receive a future shot at Bellator 205-pound champion Christian M’Pumbu.

In the co-main event, Marcos Galvao earned a future Bellator bantamweight title fight with Eduardo Dantas by stopping Luis Nogueira via TKO in the second round.

In other main card bouts, Mike Wessel defeated Ryan Martinez and Mike Mucitelli stopped Matt Van Buren
