Light heavyweights Phil Davis and Wagner Prado will give their bout a second try in October.
Earlier this month, Davis landed an eye poke that ended Prado’s UFC debut, causing a no-contest. Now, according to a report by SporTV, Davis and Prado will face each other October 13 at UFC 153.
This time, Prado will have the home-Octagon advantage, as the bout takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Prado, 24 years old, is 8-0 with the one no-contest. He has finished seven of his eight opponents.
Davis (9-1) was looking to rebound from a loss to Rashad Evans earlier this year by decision. He owns two knockout and three submission victories to his resume.
