Sarah Kaufman Vs. Kaitlin Young Set For Invicta FC 3

Former Strikeforce champion, and recent contender to Ronda Rousey’s title reign, Sarah Kaufman will face Kaitlin Young in October for Invicta Fighting Championships.

Invicta FC 3, the third all-female fight card, takes place October 6 from Kansas City. The main event features Jessica Penne facing Naho Sugiyama for the atomweight title.

Kaufman (15-2) was recently submitted by Rousey in her quest to win back the title. Rousey locked in an armbar and scored a first round submission victory in under a minute.

Young (7-6-1) is also coming off a submission loss, as Liz Carmouche scored a rear-naked choke victory at the previous Invicta show.

“Invicta FC has made huge waves for women in MMA over the last five months,” Kaufman said. “It’s been amazing to watch so many of the top women all fight on the same card, so I’m looking forward to being a part of their next show.”
