Junior Dos Santos Also Involved In Auto Accident

UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos was involved in an auto accident in Salvador over the extended weekend.

Dos Santos became the second UFC champion to report being in an auto accident, joining UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo.

Much like Aldo, dos Santos escaped the accident without any serious injury.

“The transit of Salvador giving this fear. They just hit my car and did not stop, continued to follow the path as if it were normal,” wrote dos Santos on Twitter. “Please let us be more aware and respect others. You win nothing with violence and disrespect. Crossing and follow in peace.”

Dos Santos is scheduled to defend his title at UFC 155 against Cain Velasquez this December. He said that he was unable to secure the license plate for the vehicle that hit his, but added, “I will tell you that I want to be distant from a person like this.”

Brazil is a lil different from us but can you imagine doing that to the heavyweight champion and then driving off ? in my case I would have stopped but also can imagine driving off if you knew that was the mma hw champ u just hit. I dont know if that person knew it was JDS ? he is such a nice guy i really doubt he would get violent but maybe upset.
