Dan Miller, a member of the UFC’s roster, recently pulled out of an upcoming bout. However, Miller’s reasons were about as good as they get.

Danny Miller, Jr., the 2-year-old son of Dan’s, was diagnosed with a nasty kidney disease. However, a member of his family recently was found to have a successful match for a transplant to occur, which it did on Thursday.

“Danny is now peeing again! Words can’t describe the emotion that we are feeling right now,” wrote Kristen Miller, the wife of Dan and mother of Danny.

Dan took to Twitter later in the day to post, “Surgery went well, never thought I’d be happy to see some pee!”

Miller’s brother, Jim, who also competes for the UFC, posted on Twitter, “Pee! My 2 1/2 yr old nephew has kidney function for the first time in over 2 years. 1 hurdle cleared, many more ahead.”
