Hector Lombard, the former Bellator middleweight champion, will compete in his second UFC fight this December when he takes on Rousimar Palhares at UFC on FX 6.

The card takes place December 15, though no city or venue has been determined. The finals of The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes will also take place that evening.

Lombard (31-3-1) lost to Tim Boetsch in his Octagon debut earlier this year. Palhares (14-4) has gone 7-3 in his UFC career.
