Sarah Kaufman will not be making her Invicta FC debut this coming October, as an injury has knocked her out.
Kaufman, a former Strikeforce women’s champion, was set to face Kaitlin Young at Invicta FC 3 this October 6 from Kansas City.
Instead, Young (7-6-1) will face Leslie Smith for a second time. The two previously faced each other in Invicta, fighting to a majority draw.
No timetable for Kaufman’s return was made known. She last fought in Strikeforce last month, falling to Ronda Rousey.
