It didn’t take long for a handful of heavyweights to offer up their services to replace Frank Mir and face Daniel Cormier in November.
News of Mir’s exit from the planned fight has yet to be confirmed by the UFC or Strikeforce, but that didn’t stop Roy Nelson, Fabricio Werdum or Andrei Arlovski from volunteering their services.
Nelson is currently set to face Shane Carwin in December, while Werdum does not have a fight lined up with the UFC. Arlovski is not signed to a Zuffa contract, having recently competed for ONE FC vs. Tim Sylvia.
