Mike Brown’s Fighting Future Unclear, Takes Job As ATT Coach

Mike Brown rose to prominence in the WEC, securing the promotions title.

Brown, however, might be finished fighting inside the Octagon, as he recently underwent a second neck fusion surgery, according to a report by MMA Weekly.

For now, while he rehabs, Brown will serve as a full-time assistant coach at American Top Team. ATT released a statement:

He will see how his rehab goes and take it one day at a time. He hasn’t ruled out fighting in the future.

Brown has won each of his last two UFC fights, and recently signed a five-fight deal with the promotion. He is 26-8 in his career, including several thrilling bouts with the likes of Urijah Faber.
