The most intense weigh-in Friday for UFC 152 featured middleweights Michael Bisping and Brian Stann.
After going toe-to-toe, Bisping faked a jab to the stomach of Stann, and the two traded a few words. A firm handshake finished the interesting few seconds, but the fuse was ignited for an explosive encounter tonight.
“We both want to deliver,” Stann said. “There has been some negativity about the UFC because of a card being canceled. We are going to go out there and do our best to become champion (down the road).”
Bisping enters as the favorite in the meeting, but that has no bearing as far as “The All-American” is concerned.
“I am here to win. I don’t care how many people are saying the odds are against me. I will show everybody my skill set (tonight).”
Stann is a former WEC light heavyweight champion, and has won four of his five middleweight bouts inside the Octagon. His lone loss came last year to Chael Sonnen.
