UFC president Dana White was in a pretty good mood concerning most things Saturday night following UFC 152.
However, a few items on the agenda caused that old angry White to come back. Here are some of the more noteworthy subjects discussed Saturday night:
White on future Jon Jones-Chael Sonnen match (thanks to MMAjunkie.com):
I can tell you right now, I think both want that fight. I think there are other fights that make more sense, (but) people do want to see it. If enough people want to see it, I guess I’d have to make it.
White on booing from fans during Joseph Benavidez-Demetrious Johnson match:
If you didn’t like the flyweight fight, please, I’m begging you, don’t ever buy another UFC pay-per-view again. I don’t want your money. You’re a moron, you don’t like fighting, you don’t appreciate talent.
On Michael Bisping being the next contender to UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva:
Bisping always brings it. I don’t know what’s next (for Silva). I know Bisping looked great and always comes to fight. I think a fight with Bisping and Anderson is an interesting fight.
Speaking of Silva, White fired back at a Canadian columnist for his report on the top draws in UFC history:
(Brock Lesnar, as the report stated) was never the No. 1 attraction. Georges St-Pierre has been forever. I’ve said that a million times. Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva, Chael Sonnen makes the list now, Jon Jones and Rashad Evans.
