UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones impressed at least one observer Saturday night.

Daniel Cormier, who has discussed fighting Jones in the future, posted a pair of messages on Twitter in regards to Jones’ victory over Vitor Belfort this past weekend.

Cormier is still expected to compete for the final time in Strikeforce this November before entering the UFC. He has talked about competing against Jones on The Ultimate Fighter, saying he would be willing to move down to 205 pounds if given a shot at the title.
