Dana White To Lay Off Greg Jackson Out Of Respect For Jon Jones

UFC president Dana White tends to let his words fly.

One of the main people who have been on the wrong end of several White verbal tirades is well-renowned trainer Greg Jackson.

White ripped into Jackson after the ordeal around UFC 151 and UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ decision to not take a short-notice fight with Chael Sonnen. Jones cited a discussion for Jackson for his reasoning, and White went to town.

“I think you guys know my opinion and how I feel. I’m just not going to talk about Greg Jackson. It’s good news. I will keep my big mouth shut about Greg Jackson. That’s part of my deal with Jones,” said White, in an interview with recently. “It’s not that I dislike the guy. I don’t dislike him at all. It’s just his philosophies, his business philosophies. His business conflicts with my business; that’s the big problem.”

It’s like that White and Jackson will cross paths – and have crossed paths – several times since, as Jackson trains numerous current UFC fighters.
