Dave Bautista Receives Third Opponent For MMA Debut

Former WWE champion Dave Bautista will – hopefully – make his MMA debut this weekend against Vince Lucero.

Bautista has had his opponent change three times now. CES MMA: Bautista vs. Lucero is set for Saturday night in Providence, Rhode Island and will be available on pay-per-view.

Bautista (0-0) is 43 years old but decided to enter into a career in MMA after becoming a successful pro wrestler. He has trained with Cesar Gracie Fight Team, but opened his own gym in Florida to prepare for his debut.

Lucero (20-22) has been inside the cage with such fighters as former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia.

The card will also feature ex-UFC fighters David Loiseau and John Howard.
