Anthony Johnson To Compete On World Series Of Fighting Card

Anthony Johnson will make his third appearance at light heavyweight this November, taking on D.J. Linderman at the World Series of Fighting 1 event.

The card takes place November 3 from Las Vegas, and will air live on NBC Sports Network.

Johnson, a former UFC fighter, has improved his record to 13-4 since his release from the promotion. He also decided to move to a more natural weight of 205 pounds, and has won two straight there.

Linderman is 5-1 in his last six fights, and is moving down to light heavyweight after a stay at heavyweight. He is 14-3 in his career.

The Johnson-Linderman bout rounds out the six-fight main card for the event. The main event boasts Andrei Arlovski vs. Devin Cole, along with a co-main event featuring Miguel Torres.

MMAjunkie.com first confirmed news of the Johnson-Linderman fight.
