Joseph Benavidez Healthy, Ready For Quick Return To Action After Title Loss At UFC 152

Joseph Benavidez felt like he would become the first-ever UFC flyweight champion.

Instead, Benavidez was defeated by Demetrious Johnson at UFC 152 last month. The Team Alpha Male fighter is working to get his mind right now, appearing on a recent program on Fuel TV.

“I’m feeling fine. Physically, I am great. I didn’t suffer any injuries. I still like like I am at the top of the division. I’m just looking forward to fighting again for the fans. A couple of wins and I’ll be back in there for the title.”

Johnson scored a decision victory, and Benavidez made sure to congratulate him, saying, “he fought a great fight.”
