Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was forced to cancel a planned meeting with Glover Teixeira due to an injury.
Instead, Teixeira defeated Fabio Maldonado, and made sure to let everyone know that if a “motivated” Jackson wanted to fight, he was down.
It appears that Jackson is willing to exchange with Teixeira inside the Octagon, as the fighter took to Twitter to ask UFC president Dana White to make the match.
Yo @danawhite set up that fight with Glover please! Lets give him what he wants..fans I won’t let u down #fightofthenight

White responded back with “sounds good bro,” so maybe we will see these two 205-pound warriors step inside the Octagon in the near future.
