Daniel Cormier Responds To Jon Jones, Makes Light Of Comments Via Twitter

Daniel Cormier showed he has a lighter side on Twitter Monday after hearing comments UFC light heavyweight Jon Jones made about him.

Jones discussed coaching on The Ultimate Fighter opposite Cormier, and seemed uninterested in the idea. He said that Cormier wasn’t known enough to generate interest in the coaching gig.

Well, Cormier was asked by a follower to take care of Jones inside the cage, and he responded.

Another follower even asked if Cormier had enough Tweets to warrant talking about Jones, to which he replied, “I don’t!”

Cormier captured the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix title earlier this year to remain undefeated as a pro. He is a former Olympic wrestler and is expected to join the UFC soon.

“DC” has discussed Jones due to his teammate Cain Velasquez going after the UFC heavyweight title. Cormier has stated he will not face Velasquez, and would work to get down to 205 pounds if a title shot vs. Jones was offered by the UFC.
