Slew Of New Fights Announced By The UFC

UFC officials were busy over the week, as several new fights have been signed to upcoming card.

First up, T.J. Dillashaw and Mike Easton will collide at UFC on Fox 5 this December. The card goes down December 8 from Seattle and features Benson Henderson defending his UFC lightweight title vs. Nate Diaz.

Easton (13-1) and Dillashaw (6-1) have both been on fire as of late. Easton has won eight straight, while Dillashaw has won two straight since a loss to John Dodson in The Ultimate Fighter Finale.

Next, The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale has received two more bouts. Jonathan Brookins takes on Dustin Poirier, while Tim Elliott battles Jared Papazian.

That card goes down December 15 and boasts a main event between heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson.

Finally, Erik Koch will not face UFC featherweight Jose Aldo for his next contest. Instead, Koch gets Ricardo Lamas at the year-end UFC 155 card.

Koch was scheduled to meet Aldo twice this year but an injury to “Scarface” cancelled the first meeting. “New Breed” was injured and forced out of the second planned bout. MMA Opinion reported the Koch-Lamas contest, while UFC officials confirmed the others.
