Derek Brunson advanced to the final 16 for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.
However, Brunson will not be on the same season as training partner and TUF coach Jon Jones after Showtime put a halt to his quest.

Brunson (9-2) lost to Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza earlier this year. Showtime denied Brunson an opportunity on the show due to his contract with Strikeforce.
