Chris Weidman experienced Hurricane Sandy at its worse over the past few days, as the UFC middleweight remained in his New York home during the storm.

Weidman has returned to Twitter after a day away to post that he and his family are fine, but the house was suffered extensive damage.

Weidman is scheduled to face Tim Boetsch later this year. He added that he has family just minutes away and will be staying there while awaiting the insurance claim and contractor to come in and repair the damage.
