Dana White Disappointed In Recent Events Involving Strikeforce

UFC president Dana White has had issues with other MMA promotions in the past, but White was hoping for things to work out for the better once Zuffa purchased Strikeforce.

However, it all reports are true, it appears January will be the final Strikeforce event, as Strikeforce: Champions goes down January 12 from Oklahoma City. Following UFC 154, White was asked his thoughts on Strikeforce. Thanks to for the quotes.

I am (disappointed). I don’t want to talk any (expletive), though. I could for about four hours, but I won’t; it’s not worth it.

White said he was “excited” about future prospects between the UFC and Strikeforce that could have involved champion vs. champion matches.

Instead, it appears most of the top Strikeforce names will head to the UFC, while the rest have options around the world to continue competing in MMA.
