Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has been forced out of a second planned meeting with Lorenz Larkin.
The two were originally set to battle earlier this year, while a rematch was scheduled for January. Rockhold’s damaged wrist, however, will keep him from returning to the cage.
Larkin has decided to speak his mind against Rockhold, calling him out in recent interviews over his decision to sign the contract but not make the fight happen. Well, Rockhold has heard enough and fired back via Twitter.

Rockhold later responded to the “signing” claim by Larkin, writing, “I never signed it and I never started training for it because I couldn’t. Nothing but (expletive) out (of your) mouth.”
It remains unknown when Rockhold will be able to return, though he will like do so in the UFC. Larkin’s status for January remains a mystery, as well.
