Dana White Hails Georges St-Pierre: ‘The King Of Pay-Per-View Is Back’

UFC president Dana White didn’t want to announce any numbers in regards to UFC 154, but he did make some strong remarks concerning the event.

The card featured the return of Georges St-Pierre, who had been on the sidelines for nearly two years due to knee issues. White has said countless times that GSP is the biggest draw in MMA, and he reiterated those claims during a conference call on Tuesday.

“GSP delivered again; it was awesome,” White said. “It was a great weekend for us. It was a good show. The king of pay-per-view is back.”

White laughed off several attempts to get him to announce specific numbers for the card, which took place inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

St-Pierre defeated Carlos Condit, unifying the UFC welterweight titles.
