Jose Aldo Already Discussing His Retirement Plans? Dana White Is Going To Enjoy This

UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo has made a quick impact on the sport of MMA.

As the face of the division, Aldo (21-1) is set to battle Frankie Edgar in early 2013. While he’s been quick to discuss a possible change in weight classes, it appears now that “Scarface” also has retirement on his mind.

Before you get too worked up over not seeing Aldo – who hasn’t fought since January – leave the sport for good, he isn’t planning on doing so in the immediate future.

“I like soccer a lot,” said Aldo, during a recent interview with MMAjunkie.com where he pointed to 35 years old as a good retirement age. “If I can do something related to soccer, that would be great.”

Aldo is just 26 years old, so he’s got several good years ahead of him. The Brazilian is currently riding a 14-fight win streak, which includes a knockout of Chad Mendes in his last fight.
