‘King Mo’ Lawal To Face Unknown Przemyslaw Mysiala In Bellator Debut

Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal will be an overwhelming favorite when he makes his debut in Bellator – despite having not competed for over a year due to a knee injury and a suspension.

Lawal will face Przemyslaw Mysiala on the January 24 show on Spike TV. The episode will be second for Bellator on Spike, and will also feature Bellator welterweight champion Ben Askren in action.

Lawal (8-1) has recovered from a nasty knee injury which led to a Staph infection. He was also suspended for a failed post-fight drug test, and was released by Strikeforce after a verbal tirade against the athletic commission that suspended him.

Mysiala is an unknown fighter, but will be part of the season eight light heavyweight tournament for Bellator against Lawal. He lost his last fight earlier this year in March.
