Rory MacDonald Pleased Carlos Condit Accepted His Challenge, Plans To Avenge His Loss

Rory MacDonald will face Carlos Condit in March at UFC 158. The meeting will give MacDonald the opportunity to avenge his lone career loss.

In 2010, Condit defeated MacDonald via TKO with some vicious ground-and-pound as just seven seconds stood between the Canadian surviving the round and winning the fight.

“I’m very anxious for the fight and I will avenge myself,” said MacDonald, in a recent interview with the Brazilian site Tatame. “I’ll dominate the fight and I will prove to everyone I am better.”

MacDonald has put together a solid win streak since the loss, including a recent victory over ex-UFC champion BJ Penn.

The March card from Montreal will feature several of the top welterweights in the promotion, providing MacDonald with another opportunity to improve his stock in the company.

Who do you feel will win this contest? Do you see a MacDonald or Condit finish happening?

MacDonald is a douche. I hope he gets smashed early and decisively in front of his home crowd.
