Stefan Struve Believes He Is In Perfect Position To Strike In UFC’s Heavyweight Division

Stefan Struve understands that at 24 years old, he has yet to reach his potential inside the Octagon.

Struve, who is set to face Mark Hunt at UFC on Fuel TV 8 this March, will look to earn his fifth consecutive victory. Struve is 25-5 in his career, including recent victories over Stipe Miocic, Lavar Johnson and Dave Herman.

“I’m only 24 and I am still evolving and maturing as a fighter,” said Struve, during a recent interview with Tatame. “I’m working hard to improve my skills and I’m still growing in size. I hope to be a challenger and a future champion real soon.”

Struve hit the 7-foot mark before his last fight. He was originally set to face Hunt back in May, but Hunt was forced out and replaced by Johnson.

Hunt has won three of his four UFC bouts, including three in a row.
