UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos is considered by many to be one of the top fighters in all of MMA.
Saturday night, dos Santos will face Cain Velasquez in a rematch at UFC 155.
Back in late 2011, dos Santos floored the previously-undefeated Velasquez with an early onslaught, earning a TKO victory in just over a minute.
Since that fight, “Cigano” has added Frank Mir to his list of victims, and told reporters at a press conference Thursday that his recent training camp only made him even better.
I think I did the best camp I ever did. It was really good, everything was good for me. I am feeling stronger, faster, more experience. I think I’m better now.
A scary thought for the rest of the heavyweight division if true, as dos Santos has 10 straight bouts, including eight finishes.
Dos Santos still is expecting the best Velasquez possible, saying, “Cain is very well prepared. I’m very well prepared. The heavyweight division is very dangerous and I think this fight is going to go longer (than the first one).”
