Alistair Overeem Has A Few Comments For Junior Dos Santos After UFC 155

Former Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem was an interested observer Saturday night as Cain Velasquez re-claimed the UFC heavyweight title from Junior dos Santos at UFC 155.

Overeem, who was scheduled to meet dos Santos earlier this year before failing a pre-fight drug test, is set to face Antonio Silva in February. With a win, Overeem will likely secure a title shot against Velasquez.

However, with plenty of animosity between himself and dos Santos, Overeem didn’t let the chance to poke a little fun at the ex-UFC champion be missed.

Overeem did later post that he thought it was a “great fight,” and “great performance by Cain.”

Overeem recently had his suspension expire and is slated to go before the Nevada Athletic Commission to re-gain his fight license early next month.
