Ronda Rousey To Be A Guest On HBO’s ‘Real Sports’ Next Month

UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will appear on the HBO show “Real Sports” next month.

The program will air on February 19 at 10 p.m. ET. Rousey will face Liz Carmouche in the first-ever UFC female fight just a few days later at UFC 157 on pay-per-view.

Rousey (6-0), a former Olympian, said during the interview, “I probably get more attention fighting because of how I look, but if I didn’t know how to fight and just looked the way I do, no one would know who I am.”

Carmouche (7-2) will try to make it out of the first round against Rousey, who has won all six of her professional MMA fights via first round armbar.

Women’s MMA is built around 2 or 3 great fighters in a sea of shitty ones. It’s just so pointless and I’m disappointed that the UFC got involved in this retardation.

It’s going to take time to build up but it will happen. MMA was built around 2 or 3 fighters when it first came around. If any organization can build divisions it’s the UFC. A female TUF, a world wide search, spread it to Brazil and The UFC will have full divisions in a couple years. Don’t be a sexist little troll.

It’s about time. I enjoy female MMA and I’m a long time fan of the sport.
