Glover Teixeira has his sights set on another stiff challenge for his fourth UFC appearance – though he’s unsure of an exact opponent at this point.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Teixeira earned his 18th consecutive victory by defeating former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
“I want to fight a top guy that comes from a victory,” said Teixeira, in a recent interview with Tatame. “All three opponents I faced in the UFC, I came to defeat. I want a guy who is on the same pace as m, looking for the belt.”
Teixeira stopped Kyle Kingsbury and Fabio Maldonado before earning a decision over Jackson. He said the win over “Rampage” helped “open the door for me to get among the top (fighter) in the (division).”
