Tyron Woodley didn’t spend much time inside the Octagon during his UFC debut recently, knocking out Jay Hieron in less than a minute.
Now, Woodley is looking at a quick turnaround – and has March as a target date for his return. In fact, the former Strikeforce title contender even has an opponent in mind: Rory MacDonald.
“I want to fight him,” said Woodley, during a recent interview with Sherdog radio. “If anything happens with Carlos Condit, God forbid, or something happens with that fight, I already told Dana White.”
MacDonald and Condit are set for the stacked welterweight event at UFC 158 from the Bell Centre in Montreal. Following his win over Hieron, Woodley told White that his passport is updated and he can travel to Canada.
