If UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was presented with the opportunity to coach on The Ultimate Fighter, she would gladly accept.
Rousey, who will make her Octagon debut next Saturday night at UFC 157 against Liz Carmouche, discussed such a position during a conference call on Tuesday.
“It would be so much fun to coach TUF,” Rousey said. “I wonder if we would coach guys or girls? It would be cool to coach guys. Men fighters having to respect girl fighters.”
Rousey also stated that it would be “hilarious to see girls (competing) on the show,” citing possible “woman” problems as the reason.
The day I hear a girl saying she doesn’t want to come to camp because of cramping, I will die laughing.
Rousey and Carmouche will make history when they become the first female fighters to compete inside the Octagon. No word yet on if males will be working the ring cards during their match.
