The UFC’s female bantamweight division continues to grow, as Dave Sholler confirmed during a conference call on Tuesday that Sara McMann and Alexis Davis have signed contracts.
Sholler, the director of communications for the promotion, stated that both fighters would join UFC champion Ronda Rousey, contender Liz Carmouche, Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano next week during media events for UFC 157 – which Rousey and Carmouche will main event.
McMann (6-0) has a similar resume to Rousey, as she also competed in the Olympics, earning silver in wrestling.
Davis, meanwhile, is 13-5 in her career and has won two straight bouts.
Tate and Zingano were recently announced as the second female fight in the UFC recently. They will square off later this year at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale.
