Jim Genia of Rebellion Media has been on hand all day as lawyers from the UFC battle to get MMA legal in the state of New York.
Less than an hour ago, Genia reported on Twitter that it appears the two sides have been pushed to settle by the judge.
BREAKING: In 2 weeks the UFC will likely be able to hold events in NY. Judge in Zuffa vs. NYS case pushing parties to settle.

Genia also spoke with the attorney for the UFC, Tim Bellamy, who informed him that they would rather wait for the law to be repealed, but if the third-party sanctioning if the only option, they are fine with that.
It appears the both sides agree that a loophole in the law banning pro MMA in New York allows for third-party sanctioning.
More info concerning this matter will be coming to MMAConvert.com in the coming hours. Stay tuned.
