The long-awaited season seven lightweight finale between Dave Jansen and Marcin Held has been re-booked for Bellator 93 in Maine.
“I’ve had a lot of time to work on my game plan and really focus on this fight on March 21st,” Jansen said. “Marcin has the total package when it comes to submissions, so I know what I need to focus on to win this fight, and get a shot at the Bellator title.”
Jansen and Held have twice had their match postponed.
The main card, which will air on Spike TV, goes down March 21.
Along with Jansen-Held, heavyweights Brett Rogers and Eric Prindle, and Travis Wiuff and Ryan Martinez, have also been signed to the card.
“I am looking forward to getting back in the Bellator cage and a chance to fight on Spike TV,” Rogers said. “In my last fight I broke my forearm but I am fully recovered, training at American Top Team and this time the only thing breaking will be my opponent. Now that I am at ATT I am a new and smarter fighter.”
The welterweight tournament finale for season eight will also be held on the main card, while former UFC fighter Marcus Davis competes on the prelims vs. Waachiim Spiritwolf.
